Create a gift certificate

To create a gift certificate, you must configure an action of type 'Create a gift certificate' from the Actions configuration page.

When making a sale, simply enter the desired amount. The gift certificate is saved in the database with a unique identifier, its creation date, its status (valid, used, refunded, etc.), and the customer (if applicable).

A receipt containing the gift certificate is automatically printed after the transaction.

Use a gift certificate

To have a customer pay for an order with a gift certificate, you must configure the 'Gift certificate payment' action.

When paying, click the associated button, then enter the gift certificate ID or scan it using a barcode reader.

Terms of Use

• A gift voucher can be used once or several times, depending on the configuration defined.
• It is refused if it is sold out, cancelled, refunded or not yet paid.

Gift certificate tracking

From the management interface, you can view the complete list of gift vouchers issued, with their status, amount, creation date and usage history.
